a homely home less homely

We've been two weeks at the new home and it's starting to feel somewhat like, well, a home. The place is still very rough around all edges as we're focusing all of our attention on the practical workings of plumbing, pocket windows, and demolition. Fortunately, we have our hot wax to keep us sane.

The second floor bathroom is first on our list of large scale overhauls. We've been pulling up stick and peel tiles, tearing down walls, and building floor plans. The next step is to strip the room of all amenities in order to lay new plumbing in the floor.
